You may import User Stories , Features , Bugs , etc from CSV. Importer consists of 3 steps:
  • Step 1. Upload CSV file - Push "Browse" button and find CSV file for import.
  • Step 2. Map CSV columns - On this step you should map columns to entity properties. Importer should know, for example, that first columns in User Story Id and second column User Story Name.
    Duplicate checking works this way:
    - If you do not specify ID column, all entities will be imported as completely new
    - If you specify ID column, all entities with ID will be updated, all entities without ID will be inserted.
  • Step 3. View Log - On this step you review import results.

Upload CSV file to the server
TargetProcess may import entities of different types from a single file. For example, you may create file that contains user stories and tasks. In this case specify entity type column and put UserStory value in each row with user story and Task value in each row with Task. For example:

UserStory Login functionality ...
Task UI design ...
Select type of entities to import
Specify the entity type column. TargetProcess will use it to define entity type for import
Select *.CSV file to upload
Select column delimiter
You are using unregistered copy. Navigate to Admin → License and register your TargetProcess license
